Confirming bassinets on United flights
I've taken two United transcontinental flights in the past month with my newborn (SFO-EWR and back). Both times got the bulkhead and confirmed with the agent over the phone that we had we were set to receive a bassinet, but both times they were unable to provide one. It seemed that on one of the flights the reason was they changed the aircraft at the last minute, I don't know what happened on the other one. Does anyone have any advice about this? Would love to figure out how I can make sure the bassinet will be there for these long flights, otherwise would prefer to just get an extra seat for the baby. Thank you so much for the help!
