We’re travelling overnight with a kid and returning from a family burial ceremony so just want to make the flight as comfortable as possible for her - not a holiday and she is still at school. We can select seats 7 days before as MrLapLap is BA Bronze, we’re travelling Economy.
The amazing Aerolopa seat maps no longer show the seating layout (when we booked it was the A320 CEO type 20E - that let us know seat pitch and recline, it was great!)
Only seat map I can find that appears to show the changed layout is this one -

I’m getting the impression that there’s no seat recline, perhaps I’m wrong.
Anyone have any advice or feedback, or can point me to a thread where these seats are discussed?
Unless the seatmap changes again (which does happen!) It does seem indeed like you are scheduled to be on a G-MIDx aircraft, in which the seats do not recline after row 12.
I've not seen any plans to bring in mainline A320 aircraft from LHR to LGW for the summer season (most of which have reclining seats), but those have the same configuration (180 seats).
It could be a 'placeholder' seatmap, and your aircraft could be changed to an A321 like the comment says above, since those are flying ALC-LGW sectors.
Realistically, you will only really know 72 hours before departure.
