No one has made any comment on Helsingin Sanomat’s article on AY and Turku. They interviewed quite many people from Turku. Most of them said that AY flights had become unrealiable so they moved to other means of transportation, own car, bus, BT and SK. Of course there were passengers who stated that was enviromentally unsustainable to fly such short flights but there were many who appreciated the possibility to sleep a bit more. Only few people interviewed were mentioned in the article which was well balanced. I fully agree that reliable and fast train connections would be the best solution but we are not there yet and there are no plans either.
