Thanks so total gamble when we depart Amman. Obviously don't really want to have to enter Doha at midnight to get bags (which is unlikely since they should be checked to the final destination), but also repacking on the fly sounds less than ideal at the airport...

edit: Just re-read the Qatar policy, I see now that it's one hand luggage aka carry on suitcase plus a personal item with a backpack. Should be fine except for the weight part!
