Im always on Aerspace or Advantage fares so the points rack up quite quickly by default. My commutes to LHR/LGW make up 60% of the required threshold and then EU . I then use my upgrades for leisure a few times a year TATL. For me its worth it.

Also I have to point out in the last 3 months I have had cause to call in favours where it was
a no going by the rules but the Concierge kicked in and were very welcome.
