Bumping this..our first flight is in Y followed by an 8 hour layover and then in J. Should we be allowed two handbags on our first flight since we are connecting in J? Thanks!
edit: Just re-read the Qatar policy, I see now that it's one hand luggage aka carry on suitcase plus a personal item with a backpack. Should be fine except for the weight part!
