Since ANA is releasing only 1 J and 1 F nowadays to Aeroplan, I was going to book 1 of each for myself and my partner. At T-14, if more F becomes available, can I upgrade online or by calling Aeroplan (I don't really want to do that, but still) to pay the points difference?
That is exactly what I did. Booked J and then monitored for some F space. As soon as F showed up, I rang AP and completed the upgrade. For context, space opened up T-4 and I was lucky in that I only waited 45 mins to connect to an AP agent that day.
