Cheaper option currently is AerSpace on operated services in Europe, a return gets you 100 credits for 300-450 euro (after 1 Oct fares are bit crazy though we expect this to reset) so about 4k which is getting into really good value

You do get the change fee waived
4 upgrades (only useful if you fly to US/CA) and book well ahead
Free WiFi if in economy on TATL
No status recognition outside EI

I’d be inclined to agree. Think I’ll make concierge this year, mostly due to AerSpace fares
to London which net me 100 points per return for a spend of only €220. I do hope this lasts. The fares for October are off the scale, even at saver. Clearly something is going on and they’ll reset at some point. Almost €600 for a SAVER fare to Paris isn’t going to work 😂
Having said all that there’s little extra in Concierge bar the upgrades and even they aren’t guaranteed. So. Yeah. I’d be happy enough with Platinum. Just want to be Concierge for a year for the craic!
