I noticed the western hotel premium most heavily in Ginza actually. For next Friday, a night at the AC Hotel prices at $509 according to Google Travel. The Muji Hotel (with a location I prefer) is only $269 for the same night or $299 for complimentary breakfast. You could book an upgraded room (as the base Muji rooms look quite small and pocket the rest if you'd like.
