Good ideas. Right now we're in 11 DEF, indeed on flt 299. premium is rows 6-9 and listed as +148 each. Flight is in August and currently listed as a 737-9. It does permit me to select the exit row for all 3. The Mrs doesnt like exit rows as she answers "no" to the FA question "are you willing and able..." Imaging my joy the first time THAT happened. Ugh. Make me feel less guilty about the thought of splitting the PNR and leaving her in coach...I like the split and pay for one to upgrade to premium idea. If we do that, and U space does open up for one or more of us, do I get the $148 back?
