I think Clear has outlived its usefulness. Most TSA checkpoints now only require an id scan. Compared to the Clear process where someone has to log in to a terminal, you scan your eyes, the person looks at the screen, compares to your boarding pass, escorts you to the TSA ID checker, you show your boarding pass again, and you’re finally in. Also ticking off the people in the regular lane where your line cuts in front of everyone in the process.

It’s literally just a cut the line program. And now that everyone and their mother has it it doesn’t even do that. I have it through a credit card. I would never pay for it and think it’s time for the program to end.
