If you are familar with NZ and their Airpoints program, you will know that they also don't have an award chart for their own flights. Their program currency is simply Dollars and redemption is based on the value of a revenue ticket. However, to participate in the *A, they release very limited X, I class availability for partner airlines. I imagine AZ would somewhat have a similar approach.
