About £4.5k for flight costs. Add on roughly another £500 for the
extra I spent on hotels/car hire to ensure I qualified for the double tier points offer (I paid slightly more than I would have done).
And plus all the costs of the actual holiday itself, but those were holidays I would have taken anyway, BAEC or not, aiming for GGL or not.
That was with the double TP offer and the reduced thresholds.
With limits back at 5,000 and without double tier points, then £10k is do-able - 5 x HNL/BUD trips - whether you can take sufficient time off and/or not getting bored of HNL airport - is another matter. That's another way the double TP offer helps - more points per annual leave day. required to be taken
