I find that there are still glitches with conferring a STPA to someone. Recent example was my colleague had 3 folks on their PNR and needed the checked luggage allowance since they were relocating. Online when they checked in it was showing a charge for the 3 bags ($100 for 2nd, etc.). I had to get the concierge involved and to leave notes on the file along with potentially meeting them while checking in so the agent knows to waive the luggage fees. A hassle especially for folks who might not travel as often. Hopefully this gets fixed.
had exact same experience. Despite speaking to concierge and emailing airport concierge in anticipation, they still tried to charge them over $1,000 in baggage fees. I had to be on the phone again for a long time to finally get them to "waive" the fees!! Everyone except the checkin desk could see the Status Pass on the reservation and the IT system was adamant that they had to pay so it needed manual override. NOT a pleasant experience for anyone.
