Yes I have been stung by this too for a couple of weeks’ time. Original departure was 1245, retimed to 1905 and arriving at the fairly miserable hour of 2230.

I’m on a Premium ticket booked via my corporate TA, LHR-IAD (VS), DCA-LGA (DL), JFK-LHR (VS) with the first sector upgraded to UC myself using points.

I may call up tomorrow and see if I can reroute via JFK, giving me an extra 3 hours in Washington. However considering the complication of the ticket and the desire to keep the upgrade, it may end up being too much hassle!
