Long story short, do JAL block adjacent seats for OWE? Completely anecdotal of course, this seemed to be the case for me on a flight on Saturday night BKK-NRT in J shell flat neo seat: once I’d managed to set my seat to 8C, 8A suddenly showed blocked on Expertflyer.

I have no JAL status, just BA Gold (OWE).
