Hello all.
I will be transiting through Doha and have a 20 hours layover.
My checked bags will arrive at my final destination of Gatwick.

I plan to go outside and stay at a hotel during my transit ( Qatar stopover ). My mate has asked me to buy some fragranced bottles of talc for his mum. Is this allowed in cabin baggage?
If not, can I turn up few hours before my flight from Doha and ask them to check in my cabin baggage as checked baggage ( providing I do not exceed my total luggage weight allowance ) ?
