I know I'd googled the question of how long it would take to see the bonus Membership Rewards points in our account after we met the minimum spend. I recall reading it could be quick (days), but that AmEx reserved the right for it to take ~8-12 weeks.

I'm pretty pleased to see that, within one day of hitting the spending threshold, those bonus points have been credited. The large purchase that took us over the line is still pending, even!

Our business platinum was approved the last week of February; bonus showed up in account two months and five days later.

I did make a couple of airfare purchases even after reaching the target, so perhaps higher overall spend makes the credit faster, but I thought this info could be interesting to other new cardholders.
