Class J is a nicer seat that reclines properly but isn’t business class and doesn’t come with any usual business class inclusions like a better meal, lounge, priority security, etc, it is confusingly named but you should effectively think of it as shorthaul premium economy. For whatever reason, BA has generously decided to award business class TPs for it. I have received 40 TPs for it in the past (and 60 TPs for JL’s domestic F).
