The *A policy is technically that paid lounge memberships get you access into other airlines’ business class lounges, so I can understand why one wouldn’t be allowed into the KFG since it’s not technically their business class lounge.
That said, has anyone had success getting into KFG as a Silver or no-status with a UC membership?
Why didn't you try to escalate things? Typically, there are two reps checking bps and IDs at KFG. I would have asked for a manager because my understanding is that Silver/no-status can access KFG with a UC membership.
