The upper hotel room levels of the annex tower were built in 1970, as a new motel wing for the adjoining hotel, when it was the Sheraton-Fort Worth Hotel. The lower levels are actually a parking garage built for the hotel in 1928. The tower has been abandoned since the end of the hotel's Radisson years. When the hotel became a Hilton in 2006, the annex was sold and has been vacant ever since.
