I was at T8 last week and had to update my GE visa. Went through immigration at a desk (I couldn't use GE then), and then told to go on to Booth #1 at customs for GE (after baggage carousel, far right of the hall looking towards the exit). There was one person doing EoL in front of me two took 5-10 minutes. There's a sign indicating EoL priority for crew and people with tight connections.
