For those in Europe, AC is matching a QF Sale for 899 EUR (approx 1 480 CAD) from CDG to SYD 7 days advance purchase that allows for 3 transfers each way and a MPM of 15271 each way so it is a great use of 2 or more SSWUs before the end of february.

The fare is changeable before and after departure, cancellable before departure and valid 08NOV04-30APR05 with lots of availability in January and Februray.

It requires a 6 days minimum stay but it is based upon departure from origin and it allows for 1 stopover each way... So in theory, if one is crazy enough and has do be in YUL YYZ or YVR , it is probably possible to go to the canadian destination, make a stopover and continue your trip on a weekend for a quick turnaround in SYD.

Ok, It might be tight but I think that with some clever routing and COS bonus with the SSWUs one could gain elite status on this single trip.
