for clarity, I don’t think IST-PER-AKL is necessarily a good idea. But I suspect it would be more commercially viable than IST-PER-MEL/SYD given the cabotage issue. I’d envisage them organising a tie up with VA or similar to sort the connecting Australian traffic. However, I still don’t think it will happen!
