Not sure where you have read about CIV bands but it isn’t something that BA generally comments on officially. Previously reported on here is the best of what we do know:

Non-EC known customers - 0-4
Blue - 5-11
Bronze - 12-25
Silver - 26-51
Gold - 52-96
Gold Guest List - 97-99
Gold Guest List for life - 100
Premier - 105

So 41 would be a perfectly reasonable mid-level value for a silver member based on the above. There are other ranges posted on other websites (ahem) but they are mostly made-up nonsense designed to sell webpage clicks.
