I'm betting this is a newly created booking class, that might have not yet hit our system yet.

SQ fare class N is two fare classes below the lowest fare class that earns in Mileage Plan; fare class W. I'm betting it hasn't hit our system yet and never will because it won't earn in Mileage Plan.

Looking at a one-way SQ SIN-LAX N class, base fare ranges from $709-$1043. Base W class, the lowest fare class that earns in Mileage Plan, ranges from $919-$1452. The base fare for fare class B, the lowest fare class that earns 100% in Mileage Plan ranges from $1573-$2363.

As I said before, earnings on SQ are stingy. There isn't even a fare class or group of fare classes that earns 25% EQM and the two lowest Business Class fare classes don't earn a COS. Fare class W as a starting point means you will be spending more dollars if you want any benefit. That is the pseudo revenue component of Mileage Plan. Of course any good PE fare can be lucrative given the stage lengths between NA & SE Asia or the additive distance on non-direct US-UK/EU-SIN
