Note the absence of any windows in the living room. Not a fan of the suite, always preferred the corners.
From a view perspective likely depends on whether you have view toward the State Capitol or towards the Mall. On our singular stay there, we had a mall view.

Unsure why its necessary to think that all customers for a given business have to absolutely appreciate every design decision and selection that a given hotel makes.
At this time, as reported above, the housekeeping and excuses provided by the hotel for not serving its customers properly are clearly noted in recent prior posts. Using COVID as a continuing excuse not to serve your customers is truly lame. If cost cutting is what you're doing, then simply state that.
It is also unfortunate that Hyatt is not enforcing any sort of standard in this regard and particularly at this hotel adjacent to the capital building of the State of California.
