Interesting that everyone prefers the duplex,
I tend to avoid anything stairs in the room,
a reason i always book
or one speciality suites
or a normal room but with specific written instructions NOT to upgrade to a duplex
(wish seems to be added permanently to my guest stay profile)

You might wish to have during the stay the club reception
- to update your stay profile
or
even better email reservations in advance to let them
- annotate your reservations

to add with the update with strong preference to have a room allocated always on the top floor
(you have no difficulties handling stairs in your room)
