Schiphol is largely back to normal on the baggage and security fronts in my experience, however I think the Marechaussee are still understaffed leading to border queues at times. Nothing horrendous like it was last summer - even if you’d be going through it twice like OP is planning to.

Issue here is you’d be hosed if there much delay at all - this is a bad plan.
