Hi I have this question and I hope its not stupid. I tried to find an answer online but couldn't.
I am in the process of moving my Tier points to Privilege Club as my flights are going to be more with Qatar than BA. To do so I need to put Privilege club (PC) member on my ticket. I am also a BA Gold.
My question is, since I currently don't hold a PC status if I pass through Heathrow can I use my BA Gold card to access the first class lounge and first wing even if the membership number of the ticket is PC and doesn't have status yet?

Yes when departing T5 you can show your BAEC Gold card (physical or virtual on the BA app) in order to gain entry to FW check-in and security. It won't be immediately obvious to BA staff what you're doing so a little pleasant explanation and having your gold membership to hand will go a long way.
Alternatively log your BA number on the booking and have it amended to QR once you're in the Galleries First lounge, although the responsibility is on you here to remember to do so.
If you're flying QR as per your thread title then your flight will depart Terminal 4. In this case you don't need to show or amend anything as First Wing is unique to Terminal 5 and as such is not available to you.
