From a pure semantics perspective, Embraer and the FAA recognize the plane as the ERJ-175 (ERJ-170/175 and ERJ-190/195 -- or, to be even more correct, the ERJ-170-100/200 and ERJ-190-100/200). The only majorly popular Embraers that didn't carry the ERJ designation were the 110 and the 120, both of which were props.
