Why don't you look at Gigi Coefficient for Singapore and take a look at how many Maseratis and Ferraris are parked at a new condo launches events, while 80 y/o are working as cleaners at hawker centers.
Near where I used to live, there was this guy who parked his Lambo on the street, between the usual suspect Hyundais and Mazdas. Not to mention even those Hyundais and Mazdas cost as much as BMWs and Mercedeses in other countries, because of CoE.
A lot of this stuff is mind-boggling for people who never lived there... 🤷🏻♂️
