There is no way the Volare members will be able to use their miles for Star alliance awards if the other partners wont have the same benefit with ITA connections.
Well, they are not really members of SkyTeam (it only looks that way on their FF cards, despite most SkyTeam airlines not recognizing ITA status), so perhaps they expect that it could work the same way in Star Alliance?
