Generally accruing status with Miles and More is not a very popular choice given their very high surcharges on award tickets. If you aren't flying UA regularly, then getting UA status will be difficult.
yes I realize that, hence my question... however I've used miles for partial payment of tickets in the past but I don't know if M&M is interesting in this case
so what would be the recommendation of FFP in *A? Maybe Turkish? even if it is unlikely that I will fly with them...
