I love my Chase Saphire Reserve Card. The annual fee is $500+ worth it at so many levels: travel, points and claims.

The card is almost too good when it comes to making claims! So far I've made on trip insurance claim for $800 back in 2017 and a broken/inoperable oven claim for $3000 in 2021.

Now my kid's college graduation ring was just stolen and low and behold since it's been under 120 days since purchased I can claim back up to $500 for it being lost.

A few questions:

a) Has anyone file such a claim before. It was stolen from a gym.
b) Most importantly, can Chase cancel your card if you make too many claims? This may seem like an odd question but we always pay up fully each month (i.e. no interest payments) so they make absolute zero money of us except for the annual fee.
