No benefits other than points or a snack, so I skipped the American breakfast (there’s plenty of options nearby like coffee shops and a 24 hour place nearby: https://www.yayoiken.com/en, plus the usual assortments of combini).

Room is basic Japanese, bigger than something like an APA Hotel base room (those are teeny tiny),
shower, Toto washlet, Nespresso machine, a sofa for sitting. No real views. For $75 a night (!) it was 100% fine if nothing fancy. You’re in easy walking distance of Namba train station, Namba subway station. and Namba JR, Dontonbori, and I actually walked to take in a baseball game at the Kyocera dome (about 1.3 miles, Osaka is flat like an okonomiyaki). It isn’t difficult at all fo get to places like Umeda, or taking the Keihan Line to Kyoto (and since I was staying at the Chapter Kyoto that was the best way to get there from Namba, would also work for the Ritz Carlton).
