It's not even about staying in your hotel until 4 PM! It's a great feeling to wake up and continue enjoying your vacation on the day of your checkout knowing that you can return in the afternoon to pack up and leave. For me, guaranteed 4 PM checkout is my favorite travel perk above anything else. Even at Hiltons, I try to book my cash rates through Amex FHR just to keep this perk (but sadly cannot keep it when using my FNCs).
