Baby is a fan of the glass bottom kayak. It's hard to see anything while paddling so I'm fairly indifferent to doing it myself, but he gets to sit there staring through the glass saying "Fishies! Where are you? Peces! Dónde están?" over and over and it's the cutest thing ever so we've done that a few times. We also brought an inflatable airplane he can sit in that functions as a kickboard for me, so I can hold onto him in that while I snorkel around the island. He took a nap in it today. We also ended up meeting up with the other baby & family for beach time today.
Between all that and the plunge pool, we haven't even remotely run out of things to do. Took turns going to the spa the other day and it was one of the best deep tissue massages I've ever had. 10% discount if you book in advance (so $180++ for a 90 minute deep tissue, which is a pretty solid deal these days), and then if you book more once you're here they'll extend the same discount.
Talked to F&B director Fernando and got the food situation straightened out, they really are willing to get you whatever you want as long as they have it. And occupancy is evidently 86% today but it still feels deserted. Truly amazing.
good to hear about the islands of formation tour. I’m between that and the journey to the equator. I read that the journey to the equator tour is kind of like multiple tours together such as fishing. I wonder if they also cook the fish we catch? Plan to also do some diving. I also wonder if they will bring back the back of the house tours? That did seem interesting.
