I am planning to book Iceland Air from Seattle to Glasgow with 7 days stop-over at Reykjavik (Iceland). In Economy I see two class - Economy Standard and Economy Flex. Later has "No change fees and Airfare Refund".
After Glasgow, I have further two more flights for ongoing travel, so I don't see I will be changing my dates or cancel this travel. Two questions-
- In that case, will it be more sense to just book cheapest one, i.e. Economy Standard?
- I am reading in some posts that when travel will come close, people get "Class Up" email. If I book "Economy Standard", will I be eligible to upgrade to "Economy Flex", or to Saga as well? If upgrade fees is reasonable, I would want to go with Saga, which is very high right now.
Please advice.
