We recently did the dinner at Spago + kitchen tour with Wolfgang Puck. We had a decent time but I'm not sure it was worth burning ~130k points. Event started at 6pm with a welcome reception that had an open bar for about an hour and a half w/ passed appetizers, 10 minute small group kitchen tour (10 people) led by the Wolfgang Puck, and then dinner which was four courses with wine parings. Event ended with being handed a voucher for valet, signed book, and Wolfgang somewhat begrudgingly coming back out as he was late to the event and had skipped over the promised photo op. The event hosts contracted out by Marriott Moments were friendly, but did not hire a photographer or assist with people taking photos with photos taken with cellphones. I overheard a few minor complaints about having to leave with blurry photos. Food was great, our interactions with Wolfgang were pleasant and memorable, and as always enjoyed chatting it up with other frequent travelers. Not sure what the bidding was on this event the last time it was offered. I would likely only recommend bidding on this event in the future if you are a big fan of Wolfgang or have points to burn.
