How are the rooms?
Typical older style UK HIX, but air con / heating worked perfectly, lots of sockets and good water pressure, fast wifi.

How is the exec. lounge?
None

What was good and what was bad?
Good - room was spacious for an HIX, with a large desk for working. Free parking with no controls. Breakfast starts at 0700 on weekends rather than the typical 0730.

Bad - hotel name. I felt sorry for the guy who was checking in as I arrived who didn't realise Birmingham is quite far away from the hotel (40 mins by train).

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
£62 was an ok price which should become £46.50 if the Amex offer credits. It's a dump of a town smelling of drugs and children vaping everywhere (one child I saw could not have been older than 7). I hope I never need to go there again.
