It is only 720pts, but you could book a round trip CE positioning flight to Dublin for the extra 80TP's and enjoy Thanksgiving in San Fran (or Napa)?
If you also have a GUF, under a BA booking you could see if you could upgrade the BA and internal AA legs to First.

Hey - thank you so much - I should have mentioned that I am OCW-dodging on a point of principle, plus with the HEL or SOF sectors, I can get to 800 TP even if the unthinkable happens and I am too overcome with jet lag to suffer the final sector. But saving £300 is not to be sniffed at so I will have a play around with that routing, thank you once again.
