Flew EWR - PDX the other night and was not offered a snack basket. The service overall was pretty blasé and other than serving the dinner and offering Salt & Straw about an hour after dinner the FA working F was in the galley most of the flight with the curtain closed. I though the snack basket was pretty standard these days on mid-cons and trans-cons. I got the impression the basket was not catered or the FA couldn't be bothered. Service wasn't bad - would be good for UA - but not up to par for a tenured PDX or SEA based crew.
