If BA had waited (as previously) until the cabin was full and only then wheeled bags back off the plane / removed the last bags off to the hold at the aircraft door there was no way we would have left on-time.

On a positive note, this is the third BA flight in a row now in the space of 3 weeks that I have witnessed highly pro-active cabin baggage management by the GA staff....and well before the cabin gets full. Maybe, just maybe it is now being enforced consistently by BA. Hallelujah
No doubt they read this forum and take notes.
