2023 status:

Singapore airport takes a photo of your face, and 2 electronics thumb prints for regular tourists without visas, ON ARRIVAL ONLY. Also, no ink stamp at all in your passport. (You get an email confirmation later that you entered legally).

Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur airport) takes a photo of your face, and 2 electronic index finger fingerprints for regular tourists without visas ON ARRIVAL, and then takes another photo of your face and the same 2 index fingerprints AGAIN when you leave the country.

Thailand (Bangkok airport) was the worst of the bunch, which takes a photo of your face, and takes ALL 10 electronic fingerprints on ARRIVAL, and then takes another photo of your face and takes fingerprints AGAIN when you leave the country.

(The only other country I know of in the world that takes all 10 fingerprints is the USA)
