I have had many problems with bonus points not being awarded. I always call Bonvoy before my reservation is complete and they always assure me that I will get my bonus points but when I check out, they refuse to post to my account. I finally had to open up a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. If you look at some of the other blogs, this is a regular practice with Bonvoy. Bonvoy is fully aware of this practice. I have tried calling, emailing, tweeting...for weeks and I cannot seem to reach someone who is a decision maker. Their goal seems to be to get me off the phone as soon as possible by being rude and dismissive. It is very frustrating when I cannot find a Hilton when I travel and have to use Marriott.
