Redeye snack meal

Because I was feeling adventurous, and really not looking forward to the chicken/polenta or ravioli, I pre-ordered the Asian Vegetarian option. This is what showed up:

The main course was some type of coconut curry with mushy jasmine rice, topped with bamboo strips, carrots, broccoli, and red pepper. The side dish was plain lentils, with a small side of tomato salsa and half of a chili and lemon wedge, Underneath the naan, there was a container of Chobani plain yogurt, along with a small mandarin orange. The salad was made with iceberg lettuce, and it came with a balsamic dressing.

This must be the first time on UA where I felt like I need an instruction manual on how to eat the meal - specifically, what to do with the yogurt. I personally did not like the dishes - the lentil was too plain, and the salsa did not make much of a difference. The texture of the main course was off due to the mushy rice, and the flavor was on the fruity side (due to the coconut). Then again, the redeye turned out to be a great time to experiment (as intended), since I did not really need the food.

The bonus was that, 40 minutes before landing, the FA came to me and asked me whether I wanted my Asian vegetarian pre-landing breakfast. The content was a croissant and a yogurt cup.

It turned out that I got lucky, because apparently they did not board any pre-landing breakfast for anyone else.
