So I have a flight in mind, will be booking hotel seperately as BAH doesn't offer it, and don't need a car. However as it's a way off, would be nice if I could structure as a holiday - does anyone have any general suggestions of a location where I'm likely to be able to add a throwaway 1 day car hire or hotel without significantly adding to the flight cost (or better still if I could even reduce it!)?

And as a side note, if I did book a car or hotel in a totally different location to where I'm flying, anyone at BA going to care?
