Remember how the Lufthansa CEO said recently that they are having so much fun keeping capacity low and seeing prices explode and yet having their planes full? AF is not making crazy statements, but with these changes they’re mocking customers straight.

Indeed yesterday I was getting ready to book a PE fare to HKG in PE Standard and surprise, today the exact price from yesterday became PE Light. 😅 So in effect they increased prices by at least 200€ RT. And if I’ll book PE Light I won’t be able to change the flight and upgrade to J later on, which is what I normally do (J is not eligible to book work flights, only PE, so when reasonable I pay the difference myself), so that’s a lose-lose situation both for me and for AF (unless I justify the need to pay 200€ extra for PE Standard “just in case”).
