i vaguely remember a story about an US airline reducing the quantity of snacks (something like removing a few in the bag) or another one simply stopping them over 10 years ago, just because a few cents multiplied by millions of passengers would save them quite some money...

at some point, sooner or later I am afraid we'll see something like that happening on AF domestic flights...

why bothering serving snacks and drinks for an hour flight for free if you can avoid rolling the cart for a full drink service and just walk to the galley a few times to get what a passenger could pay for...

I also sense that AFKL could make people pay for SkyPriority as an option.

There is so much room for upcoming paid options

it's almost funny (or scary?) that we could so easily figure these things out on FT while airlines are busting their ... off to get more money out of us...
